Michael Coleman – President

PhD in Basic and Applied Social Psychology: Fourth Year


This is Michael’s third year as a Psi Chi officer at CGU.  He is a member of the Social Identity and Health Labs at CGU. His research interests include youth substance abuse intervention and the role of perceived control in illicit substance use. His current research is focused on developing a brief intervention for youth targeting marijuana and alcohol use, based in the Theory of Planned Behavior.

Sumana Sri – Vice President

PhD in Positive Developmental Psychology: Third Year


This is Sumana’s second year as a Psi Chi officer, and third year as a doctoral student at CGU. She is working with Prof. Csikszentmihalyi on flow and boredom among adolescents. Her research interests include time-use patterns, early childhood education and cultural psychology. She loves origami, art, theatre and literature.

Kathleen Doll – Secretary

PhD in Evaluation & Applied Research Methods: Third Year


This is Kathleen’s second MARVELOUS year as a Psi Chi Officer at CGU. In addition to being a member of Dr. Tiffany Berry and Dr. Tarek Azzam’s evaluation labs, she also is the coordinator for the MA Advising program in DBOS. Kathleen is highly intrigued by integrating mixed methodology into evaluation designs, the intersection of social finance and evaluation, and eating grapes.

Mike Knapp – Treasurer

PhD in Basic and Applied Social Psychology: Second Year

Mike Knapp

Mike is a second-year Social Psychology Ph.D. student and this will be his first year as a Psi Chi officer. Mike currently works within Dr. Allen Omoto’s lab investigating social class, prosocial behavior, stigma, and motivation. He is also the Peer-Mentoring Program Co-Coordinator at CGU. Mike enjoys cooking, photography, and exploring the local food scene!

Morgan Merovitch – Logistics

M.A. in Co-Concentration in Organizational Behavior Psychology and Evaluation with Dual MBA: Third Year


This is Morgan’s second year as a Psi Chi officer at CGU. She is also involved in LeAD Labs, sits on the Student Advisory Council for the Drucker School of Management, is an active member of the CGU Peer Mentoring Program and the Consulting Club, and enjoys teaching yoga in her free time. She is interested in leadership coaching, and in organizational development for environmentally and health conscious organizations.
